we will become silhouettes

library turned on random. the shins are on, covering a postal service song. the weather is foggy and grey.

'I've got a cupboard with cans of food, filtered water,
And pictures of you and i'm not coming out
Until this is all over
And i'm looking through the glass where the light bends
At the cracks
And i'm screaming at the top of my lungs pretending
The echoes belong to someone
Someone i used to know

And we become silhouettes when our bodies finally go
Ba ba ba...

I wanted to walk through the empty streets
And feel something constant under my feet,
But all the news reports recommended that
I stay indoors
Because the air outside will make our cells
Divide at an alarming rate until our shells
Simply cannot hold all our insides in,
And that's when we'll explode
(and it won't be a pretty sight)

And we become silhouettes when our bodies finally go
Ba ba ba...'

yup, now that's a cheerful little song. dil and i biked to the bitter end last night for dinner. it was pretty good. when we got home i talked to jake (he had called and left a message saying that he had finished the harry potter book) and then we watched anchorman. i think that i might have a crush on will ferrell that is not unlike the crush i have on adam sandler. i am a sucker for the men who make me laugh. i was really tired, and fell asleep at the very end, just as the credits were starting to roll but by neptune's beard, it was pretty funny.

this morning we got up early (6:30) and took some more stuff to the dump. it was faster and easier this time -we were done before 8. we got some groceries and came home for breakfast.

i am going back to bed for a while, but then i'm going to paint the ceiling in the living room and try to fix the back door. jebus.
