jealousy

listening to natalie merchant from her tigerlily album. i love keeping my ears out for new stuff, sometimes i need to go back to old favorites. it is so hot outside! i love it but i am sweating like a pig.

the house is sold and i am so tired. blech. i don't think that i have what it takes to be a shrewd business woman, because after a week of negotiations i feel like giving the house to a charity and starting from scratch. it makes me so mad, i just want to spite all the greedy buggers.

dil and i have discussed good ways to express dissatisfaction with our agent, ranging from mature (writing a letter to the agency) to immature (leaving a flaming bag of poo on her doorstep). we'll see. right now, i think that we should do ¡both!

i took jake to the doctor's this morning - he does not have fungus growing on him like i thought. it is actually a build up of keratonin (?) and it is completely normal. also, sam's throat is better.

after the dr's we went to the library, and then to lunch with dil. we went to the cabin cafe. it was nice and cool in there, like a cabin but without the spiders and mildew. (the food was good too!)

on the way home we all got cranky (mild term. more like the guys in treasure of the sierra madre.)

now the guys are watching sponge bob and eating popsicles and i am gonna have a little lie down.
